ACCREDITATION
National Clubs Accreditation Scheme - Level 1
Level 1 is awarded to clubs who apply for accreditation and meet or exceed the standards set by Football Federation Australia. Standards required cover such items as percentage of accredited coaches, percentage of female coaches, compliance with FFA statutes and regulations, display and adherence to FFA Codes of Conduct, adherence to Child Protection legislation, First Aid adherence and use of FFA Respect campaign.
Across the Waves Football Club achieved Level 1 accreditation in the 2014 football season.
Good Sports - Level 1
Part of the Australian Drug Foundation, the Good Sports Program is a 3 level accreditation program designed to help clubs set standards around the key health issues of alcohol, smoking, obesity and mental health. To gain accreditation a club must prove that they are proactively working on strategies and measures to ensure that the club has adopted best practices measures to minimise exposure to these key health issues.
