ABOUT Encore Dance Studio

Encore Dance Studio has operated in Bundaberg for over 10 years. Locally owned and run by Principal, Penny Curd, Encore is the premier dance studio in Bundaberg.  With 'love of dance' as the key fundamental to which all Encore dance teachers strive, it is all about allowing dancers to love the dance, self improve and have fun.  Each year the studio does a Gala Concert for all dancers and some students choose to do exams and eisteddfods throughout the year.  For those who want to do the extra curricular activities, the option is there but for those who want to just come dance and have fun, then Encore Dance Studio is equally for you!

Penny Curd is the founder of Encore Dance Studio which has been operating since 2005. She gained her Dance Qualifications through the CSTD (Commonwealth Society Of Teachers Of Dance) syllabus and also has a Bachelor Degree in Education.  Penny has danced since she was 4 years old and through dancing has had many life experiences including performing in Las Vegas at the American Dance Championships, performing at Disneyland and performing at 1988 World Expo in Brisbane.  Penny has also performed as part of dance companies and toured Australia and New Zealand.  Penny's love of dance has never changed and she now enjoys being able to pass on that love and passion to the new generation of dancers at Encore Dance Studio.

Assisting Penny on the teaching team at Encore Dance Studio are Lennee Graham (Specialist Hip Hop Teacher), Anita McAtee (Specialist Musical Theatre Teacher), Miranda Johnstone (Specialist Contemporary Teacher) and Geraldine Belluz (Specialist Ballet Teacher).  Together the very talented teaching team take pride in developing disciplined, versatile dancers in very friendly and enjoyable environment.
